Relaxation habits for deeper sleep
Small evening rituals that tell the body the day is done.

Sleep rarely arrives on command. It comes when the body feels safe enough to stop — and the hour before bed is where that safety is built or broken.

Dim the lights early. Put the screen down sooner than feels natural. Move slowly, breathe long, and let the mind write down tomorrow's worries so it can stop rehearsing them.
None of this is a trick. It is a consistent signal, repeated nightly, that the day has ended and rest is allowed.
A few reminders
- Lower the lights an hour before bed.
- Keep a notepad for tomorrow's list.
- Let the last movements of the day be slow ones.
Questions
Does screen light really matter?
For many people, yes — bright evening light delays the body's own wind-down.
What if my mind won't stop?
Write the thoughts down. On paper they lose their urgency.
